Construction

Mostly metric mounting hardware installs with basic tools common to bicycle maintenance. Some imperial hardware, but similarly sized metric tools can be substituted by people without imperial tools.

High quality bicycle hardware from DIA-COMPE: brake lever, cable stop, and cable clamp. Cable clamp is attached to the legs with a small length of bicycle spoke, providing a strong, simple, flexible connection that is easily replaced with another spoke if damaged.

14” or greater foot stance depending on model. Strong enough to exceed the weight rating of all compatible bicycles.

Finish

Semi-gloss black powder coat.

Maintenance

Assembled with copious waterproof grease on the pivot, and includes a small port to add grease later.

Functions

Over-center spring action

Holds the stand up when it is up, and down when it is down, not relying on latch, cable, or the weight of the bike to hold the stand in place.

Deployment

Remote lever pulls the stand down, allowing the rider to deploy the stand while safely straddling the bike.

Retraction

Stand will flip up into the retracted position as soon as the bike rolls forward, allowing the rider to easily push it off the stand while straddling the bike, or even simply pedal off the stand from a sitting position.

Adjustable

Adjustable height feet for fine tuning the stand with different bikes and tire sizes.

Bonus

The centerstand is very useful for holding your bike up while oiling the chain or performing other maintenance.
